Luckily for the Indian passport holders, they can travel to 46 countries visa-free or with visa upon arrival options
In this years Global Passport Index, India ranked number 78th in terms of travel freedom. As of January 2017,
Indian passport holders had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 46 countries and territories around the world.
This figure includes 20 countries and territories where an Indian can travel visa-free and 26 where the citizen can utilise the visa-on-arrival option.

For obtaining a visa on arrival, visitors would typically need to provide on arrival return flight tickets,
proof of hotel reservations, evidence of sufficient funds to cover their stay, passport sized photographs,
a passport with validity of at least 6 months and adequate empty pages and the money for fee if required by the country.
